An exciting opportunity to join a great team within a growing company offering a competitive salary with work across multiple projects in WA.
Due to growth we are looking for an experienced and proactive Rope Access Supervisor and NDT Technician to join our team based in Perth. The role’s primary focus will be to coordinate and plan NDT and Rope Access activities in accordance with relevant NATA and IRATA requirements.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the role’s key accountabilities will be:
- Assist in the preparation of project tender submissions, quotes and budget estimates.
- Coordinate project jobs scopes, methodologies and attending project review meetings.
- Generation of new business
- NATA signatory for the business
- Compiling and signing off on NDT reports
- NDT Asset Management
- Ensure projects comply with Safety requirements, including assisting with risk assessments.
- Liaise with Line Managers to review project workload.
- Review timesheets submitted for payroll processing.
- Assist Logistics/Manning Coordinator in the preparation of project manning levels.
- Monitor NDT equipment to ensure compliance with legislative and IRATA requirements.
- Provide technical assistance to purchasing and evaluation of potential suppliers.
- Participate in all accreditation audits (e.g. NATA, IRATA) and review and assist with the close out of corrective and preventative actions.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and documents such as codes, standards, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- Experience dealing with NATA
- Current NDT certificates (MPI/UT/EC)
- LOLER certificate
- Good Commercial experience
- Current C class drivers licence
- IRATA qualification or knowledge
- MSIC
A Project Management qualification will be highly regarded along with Advanced NDT experience utilising Phased Array and TOFD.
