GCS Integrated Services Pty Ltd (A Division of GCS) has an opportunity for a motivated and experienced Hoist Labourer to join our friendly and professional team based in Wangara.
Reporting directly to the Despatch Manager, key accountabilities will include:
- Liaise with staff, as required, throughout the day to review workload for current and following days.
- Packing and unpacking of all hoist orders.
- Coordination of all transfer of hoist stock out of sales store, ensure correct paperwork is completed and authorised by the appropriate manager prior to hoists leaving the shed.
- Ensure that all incoming stock is quarantined, counted and checked for damages / faults / shortages before stock is placed in stores.
- Counting of deliveries and returns accurately including maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Check, service and make minor repairs to hoists as per Company guidelines – on site and in the yard.
- Maintain the yard in a neat, tidy and safe manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and legislative requirements.
- Erection, dismantling and modifications on hoists as required in accordance with Australian Standards.
- Ongoing review of all systems and operations to ensure maximum efficiency and adherence to IMS Systems.
Essential:
- Vehicle Lic (HR) Heavy Rigid (GVM >0.8t, >2 axles, inc MR,LR,C)
- Safe Working at Heights training
- High Risk (LF) Forklift Truck
- High Risk (DG) Dogging
- High Risk (RI) Rigging Intermediate (inc DG,RB)
- High Risk (HP) Personnel & Materials Hoist
- High Risk (SI) Scaffolding Intermediate (inc SB)
- High Risk (CV) Vehicle Loading Crane (>10m
- Safety Awareness Training Card (White Card).
- Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's License.
- Demonstrated previous experience working with Hoists, Conveyors and PLCs.
- A high level of attention to detail.
